Miley meets the Strauss Family!
Some very excited girls are finally in the limo heading out to meet Miley and spend the day at a taping of the Hannah Montana show...
Of course, first thing first...we had to check out the beach...and sit in the props.  The beach scene was really cool.  Yes...it was real sand, too.  Both girls loved seeing this in real life.  They had seen it so many times on TV and it looked so different.
Megan was AMAZED with the fact that the beach was inside a building!
Rico's ... the hut where Jackson works on the show.
Being the curious kid we are, of course we had to climb up to see if there was really any water on the other side.  What we learned was very interesting and surprising...but we'll never tell!!!
Just taking a rest on the deck before moving on...
....into the living room and kitchen!
Both girls were showered with gifts as soon as we arrived.

While the cast and crew get ready to start taping in the rink, we tour the studio to see the different sets.  We visited the beach, kitchen, living room, and deck.  FUN!!!
And of course we cannot forget the hallway at school...
We also stopped by to visit Jackson's room.  Unfortunately, he wasn't there then.  Oh, well...
Just a little photo to remind the girls that EVERYONE has to do schoolwork...no matter where it is.  For our girls it is homeschool...for Miley and the cast it is the set of Hannah Montana!
Jona hanging out in the make-up and hair area of the set.
We have to stop at wardrobe to check out what's hanging up for Miley...
...and try on her "famous" jacket and wig!
Do you recognize this man?  He is the dad from That's So Raven.  Rondell Sheridan.  He was working with the cast of Hannah Montana on the day we visited.
Jona and Emily Osment! (Meg was too shy to participate in this picture.)
Our family in the skating rink while the cast was taking a little break from taping.
Jona meets Mitchell Musso...great guy!!!
Meg was a little unsure of him, though!
Our little Jona had alot to say to Mitchell.  She was so animated (as always) that he suggested they should keep her around!  That girl never meets a stranger.  They had the best time chatting and afterwards he signed his script for that episode and gave it to her.  Of course then everyone signed it.  He is such a neat person.  He was so kind to both Jona and Meg.
Jona "studying" the script Mitchell gave her...while Meg just had fun playing around!!!
Miley zoomed by the girls and made a funny face just to remind them that she knew they were there watching even though she was busy at that moment taping.  It did make the girls smile!
Everyone had to watch out and move over because it was "Miley Time" and Jona was moving in....
Poor Miley...She had on so much gear that it probably weighed as much as her.  No matter how hot or tired she was you wouldn't have known it.  She was AWESOME with the girls.  They had so much for her to sign (and sign...and sign) that Jeff and I even were starting to apologize and put in a limit, but Miley insisted saying that this was a big deal.  She is a wonderful role model for the girls.  What a kind and thoughtful person.  Her mom was great as well.  She sat in the dressing room and visited with us as well.
Miley had to do some work with Meg for a little bit...commenting on how she liked her bow, etc.  Eventually Meg warmed up to her.
Jona had a frog that her Paw had given her before we ever knew we would meet the Cyrus family.  We took the frog with us in hopes that Billy Ray could sign it because it sang and danced to his famous song, "Achy, Breaky Heart".  Well, unfortunately he was not on the set that day.  Miley promised Jona she would give the frog to her dad and have him sign it and they would mail it back.  Within a week Jona had that frog with his signature on it.  We were amazed because that family is so busy but they did take the time to think of Jona even after that day.
In the end it was a magical, unforgettable day.  Thank you Miley, Mitchell, and everyone at Hannah Montana for the gift of your time.
